It is we feel not hard to imagine the above scene in the 1500's with the waterside teeming with sailors, merchants and foreign privateers. How can one not be inspired by this thought.

Richard May and Lee Hardacre started Barbican Accountants Ltd in 2009. We are a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based on the Barbican, Plymouth.
Having worked together previously, we always knew that our complementary skills would provide a very attractive service offering for clients.
Our intention is start a "New Wave of Accounting" that will sweep outward from The Barbican and change the way that people think about the profession.

We find The Barbican an inspiring place to work – rich with heritage and inextricably linked to the sea. Nowadays of course things are a little more modern and the area is awash with fabulous bars, restaurants, cafes and other highly interesting businesses (many of whom we act for).
Our offices in Barbican House New Street were built in the seventeenth century and are situated in front of the Elizabethan Gardens.
We are different than other firms of Accountants in that we believe in a philosophy known as "New Wave Accounting". In overview this involves looking for simple, effective solutions to modern financial problems, in a way that is enjoyable and hopefully stress-free.
